Bismil commenced operations in Papua New Guinea, providing tailoring and uniform-manufacturing services to local businesses and organisations.

Bismil launched its WORKMAN brand to provide reliable & practical workwear suited to Papua New Guinea’s industries, climate & working conditions.

To meet the growing demand for quality corporate wear, Bismil launched the RIKKIZ corporate clothing brand and opened a dedicated corporate showroom.

With Mr. Hafiz Ikram joining the leadership team as Sales Director, Bismil secured dealerships for Bisley Workwear and Mongrel and Oliver safety boots.

These leading Australian brands help us meet the growing demand for premium workwear and safety footwear across Papua New Guinea’s oil and gas, mining, construction and industrial sectors.

Following an ownership change in 2006, Bismil entered a period of restructuring and expansion under the leadership of CEO Mr. Mohamed Ikram Sahabdeen, who has been with the company since 1999.

Bismil opened its Lae branch to improve stock availability, delivery times and customer support throughout the Momase and Highlands regions.

Bismil established dedicated sublimation printing and garment-production departments to manufacture customised polo shirts, round-neck T-shirts and shirts.

By completing printing and sewing in-house, we reduced production lead times and strengthened our ability to respond to urgent customer requirements.
